Joseph R. Soucy, FIC, is assigned as field agent in the DiCalogero Agency of Eastern Massachusetts. He is wholly dedicated to serving Catholic families on Boston’s Northshore and in the Merrimack Valley.
Joe became a Knight of Columbus in 1992, and has participated in the Order’s insurance program since 1994. He has served as Grand Knight of Meader Council 6064 (Georgetown), and as Faithful Navigator of Fr. O’Doherty Assembly #391. Joe is a charter member of Holy Family Council 14016, Hanscom A.F.B.
Joe and his bride, Jeanne, live in Georgetown, MA, and are the proud parents of six children. They have three grandchildren. The Soucy’s youngest children receive a classical Catholic education from Jeanne at home, and they are members of CHIME (Catholic Homeschoolers in Massachusetts East). They belong to St. Mary Parish in Georgetown-Rowley, where Joe serves as a lector and Jeanne as an Extraordinary Minister. Their children serve on the altar. Both Joe and Jeanne sing in the choir and are Cursillistas.
In 2006, the Soucy family was recognized with the order’s highest award: Knights of Columbus International Family of the Year.
Joe was named Marshall Scholar for the University of Rhode Island, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Regular Army commission. He served his country the U.S., Germany, and lastly as a company commander in Italy.
Joe consistently exceeds his quotas his quotas as an agent, and has qualified for the agent incentive trip every year of his career.
