Knights Know Mercy
During Lent, Knights are encouraged to share what their councils are doing in response to Pope Francis’ call to grow in faith by performing the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. With so many Knights of Columbus programs and initiatives being expressions of the works of mercy —including 40 Cans for Lent, Coats for Kids, and Food for Families— Knights should lead their parishes in Lenten observances during the Holy Year of Mercy.
Knights can start small, by simply hanging the printable Works of Mercy poster in their homes, council meeting spaces, and parishes, to be reminded daily to perform the works of mercy.
