Walk of Faith
John Moore, past grand knight of Fray Marcos Council 1783 in Gallup, N.M., went to the March for Life for the first time six years ago. He asked himself then what he could do to stand up for the unborn and all human life.
At that time he decided to undertake a pilgrimage of faith from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. and the March for life. He left the West Coast last April, and with his daughter Laura providing assistance, he began the trek that culminated at the March on January 18. During that walk he carried two crosses as a sign of faith.
Prior to the start of the rally and the March, John Moore and Laura had the opportunity to meet with Supreme Knight Carl Anderson. John presented him with the crosses and together they carried the crosses during the march.
