Father J. B. Ralliere Council 9340 and Sir Knight Modesto Sanchez Circle 5332, both in Peralta, served food to the homeless and needy at the Good Shepherd Center in Albuquerque. Knights and Squires served more than 300 meals.
The Ontario State Squires Circle hosted its annual Tournament of Champions — a membership event and video game competition. The day began with a memorial to deceased Squires, followed by several knock-out-style video game tournaments. The event also saw the investiture of 24 new Columbian Squires.
Father Leo Anctil Circle 5211 in Coventry donated $300 to SPREAD, a ministry group working to fully integrate people with intellectual disabilities into the Church.
St. Francis of Assisi Circle 5301 in Kerrville assisted a young mother diagnosed with cancer by raising $1,320 for her medical expenses. Squires raised the money by selling Christmas jars filled with ingredients for tortilla soup or fudge brownies.
