Scholarships offered through the Supreme Council are just part of the K of C's story. Our more than 14,000 local councils and assemblies provide $6 million in scholarships and academic awards a year to students in their communities.

Scholarships for students attending colleges and universities in Mexico, the Philippines and Puerto Rico are administered by the respective jurisdiction.

To be eligible for a
Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarship
,
Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria (Canada) Scholarship
or
John W. McDevitt (Fourth Degree) Scholarship
you must be:
1. A member of the Knights of Columbus in good standing, the son or daughter of such a Knight, the son or daughter of a deceased member who was in good standing at the time of his death, a Columbian Squire, or the wife or widow of a U.S. Knight applying for a McDevitt scholarship,
and
2. A U.S student entering freshman year of a bachelor's degree program at a U.S. Catholic college or Catholic university or a Canadian student entering his or her first year of university study leading to a baccalaureate degree at a university in Canada.
Scholarship applications are sent via postal service. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.
