We take security and comfort for granted. That wasn’t so 120 years ago. The lives of Catholic immigrants were often short and tragic. A young insightful priest, Father Michael J. McGivney sought sanctuary for the widows and orphans of his small struggling parish. The Knights of Columbus was born.
