Any Church institution that is affiliated with the Catholic community in the United States, United States Territories and Canada is eligible for consideration under ChurchLoan. There are two major requirements each applicant should meet prior to applying:
- Have sufficient property available to meet a 75 percent loan-to-value ratio (for secured loans only)
- Have a guarantee of the loan by the diocese or religious order of affiliation.
The following are examples of institutions that qualify:
- Dioceses
- Seminaries
- Parishes
- Schools
- Hospitals
- Religious Orders
