Councils to ‘NET 5’ Between April 1 and June 30th!

The supreme knight recently announced a special 125th Anniversary Year Incentive for each grand knight to encourage every council to “NET 5” between April and June of 2007. The grand knight of each council that recruits a net gain of at least 5 new members between April 1 and June 30, 2007 (and submits the entry form  recently sent to all councils by July 10) will have his name entered into a special drawing for one of three trips to the 125th Supreme Convention in Nashville, Tenn., August 7 – 9.  Grand Knights will receive an additional entry for every member recruited above the net gain of 5 members during this time.

Celebrate 125 Years of 'Faith in Action' by Recruiting New Knights

During the Order’s 125th anniversary celebration, your council is asked to show qualified men that becoming a member of the Knights of Columbus will be the “Experience of a Lifetime.” This campaign theme mirrors the goal of the Knights of Columbus to make a difference in the lives or our members and potential members and their families by offering them the opportunity to be of service to our Church and our communities.

There is a place in the Knights of Columbus for every qualified man, whether he has a huge amount of time to volunteer or only a couple of hours a year, regardless of what his interests are, the Order has something to offer him.

As we continue the celebration of our 125th anniversary under the theme of “Faith in Action” we continue to live the vision of our founder Father Michael J. McGivney while inviting qualified men to join the Knights of Columbus in what will be for them an “Experience of a Lifetime.”

This page is your guide to having a successful recruitment program in your council. The suggestions in the links below are proven winners. You should decide which ones offer the best opportunities for success in your council. These strategies are easy to organize and implement. If you follow all the steps described, you’ll be successful.

Review the programs outlined, take the steps to get organized, implement your program and follow through on it. Use the "page link" options below to view the Web page for each category, and the "PDF" option to open a PDF file that you can print and distribute among your council members.

Remember, there are a lot of qualified Catholic men just wanting to be asked to join. Now is the time to take your first steps toward offering these men membership in the Knights of Columbus.
