Steve Drotar of Loyalty Council 2661 in Lima, Ohio, was the Order's top recruiter for the 2005-06 fraternal year. Drotar was awarded a trip to the 124th Supreme Council Meeting in Orlando, Fla., where he was recognized for his achievement.
Drotar proposed 142 new members into the Order last year after recruiting 119 Knights during the 2004-05 the fraternal year. His council surpassed its membership net goal by 353 percent.
With 173 new members, Loyalty Council was one of seven councils to earn the Order’s Century Club Award for 2005-06. Century Club Award winners add 100 members or more over their suspensions and withdrawals. Winners are:
