Loras Council 532 in Davenport held its annual prom for people with disabilities May 2. Attendees enjoyed a full dinner and plenty of dancing.

St. Wenceslaus Council 14385 in Iowa City volunteered at the Special Olympics Mid-Winter Games March 13 at the University of Iowa. Knights helped provide lunch for more than 900 athletes, coaches and volunteers.

Bishop Edward A. Fitzgerald Assembly in Rochester presented a U.S. and papal flag to St. John the Evangelist Church.

Father Jeremiah O'Callaghan Council 3659 in South St. Paul has participated in the "Adopt-A-Highway" program for 10 years. The council cleans its assigned stretch of highway several times annually.

Father Lucien Galtier Council 4184 in West St. Paul hosted its annual dinner to benefit the Wakota Life Care Center. Over the past 7 years, Knights have raised $35,000 for the center, which offers counseling and resources for women in crisis pregnancies.

Brother Elzear Council 5202 at St. Mary's University in Winona held its annual pancake breakfast to support people with intellectual disabilities. Proceeds from the event are used to send local young people with disabilities to summer camp.

St. Odilia Council 9598 in Shoreview donated new collection baskets to its parish. Council members also actively serve as ushers and extraordinary ministers of holy Communion at St. Odilia Church.

Holy Spirit Council 11460 in Rochester held five pancake breakfasts over several months. The events raised $3,200, which was distributed among several local charities.

St. Louis Assembly provided an honor guard for a local flag raising ceremony. The flag used during the ceremony was donated by Spec. Bryan Hoffman, a veteran of the war in Iraq who presented the flag to the Knights in gratitude for their support during his deployment.

St. Joseph Council 10894 in Springfield donated $250 to Madonna School, a school for children with intellectual disabilities. St. Joseph Church provided matching funds of $250 for the donation as well.

St. Isaac Jogues Council 11312 in Lincoln held its annual bike safety rodeo at North American Martyrs Church. The annual event serves to educate children about bicycle safety and also features representatives from the State Patrol Air Wing, the Lincoln Police Department K9 unit, the Lincoln Fire Department and more.

St. Maximilian Kolbe Council 14508 in Beaver Crossing-Utica hosted a pancake breakfast and silent auction for a Knight whose son has cerebral palsy. The event raised more than $15,000 to help the family purchase a wheelchair-accessible van.

Bishop Harold J. Dimmerling Council 1489 in Rapid City hosts a monthly pancake breakfast with proceeds added to the council's charitable fund.
