Knights of Columbus: Local Council Template
A WEB SITE FOR A LOCAL COUNCIL
A basic web site template is provided here for use by local councils. The template consists of four main pages with accompanying graphics which include a home page, an activities page, an officers page and a membership page. Local councils can fill in certain information specific to their own council to create a customized web site, or simply use the template design as a starting point for a more ambitious site.
OPTIONS
A. You can view the site (on the right) created by the template (without customized information) here.
B. To move the entire site to your local computer for editing and deployment, first create an empty folder on your hard disk. Then use one of these two methods:
- Download the zip file (on the right) to your new folder and use any unzip program to extract the 30 files within it.
- OR (NOT AND): Click on each of the 30 links (on the right) in turn and when each file appears on screen, use your browser's FILE | SAVE AS function to save it under the same name to your new folder. (Be sure to use the same name as the file has in our list; your browser may propose a different name based on the files internal HTML title.) Use your browser's BACK button to return to the list after saving each file.
