Part of the Knights of Columbus “Racial Contribution Series” originally published in 1924, The Gift of Black Folk: The Negroes in the Making of America, written by civil rights pioneer W.E.B. DuBois, has recently been re-published. The new commemorative edition (Square One, New York) features an introduction by Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson, who will discuss the book online March 25, the feast of the Annunciation, at 5 p.m. (ET).

The Faith We Profess: A Catholic Guide to the Apostles’ Creed (Ave Maria Press, 2008), by Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi, will also be discussed. The book features insightful and understandable reflections about essential Catholic teachings.
