Give Back This Year

On the evening of his election, Pope Francis seemed to speak directly to the heart of every Knight of Columbus when he said, “Let us work even harder for those who need the most help in our society.” Since our founding in 1882, Knights – with charity as our first principle and guide – have done exactly that, working hard for those most in need, wherever they were, and wherever they needed.

We are proud to continue that legacy today.

Whether it’s giving warm winter coats to children in need, restocking shelves at the local food pantry, providing clean water in Guatemala, helping orphans in Africa, healing children in Haiti, serving victims of natural disasters in the Philippines, donating prosthetic devices to victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings, or giving back to the Church, Knights always answer Pope Francis’ call to help those in need.

But we can always do more.

During this season, we ask for your contribution to our 2013 Annual Appeal. Together, with your support, we will work towards Supreme Knight Carl Anderson’s goal of bringing the example of Pope Francis into every home, parish, and community.

We must lead by example to show others our principles are not merely words but part of the life we lead each day. It is up to us to spread the work of Catholicism as we try to better our community and our world. “Our charitable service not only helps the temporal needs of our neighbors,” our Supreme Knight said, “but our personal witness of charity can also evangelize as we live Christ’s commandment of love.”

We are making an impact. In the previous fraternal year, Brother Knights once again gave at a record-setting pace, donating more than $167 million to charity and volunteering more than 70 million hours of service with a value of $1.5 billion.

But most of all, it's the individual gifts that make it possible for us to play such a vital role in this great nation and around the world.

You can choose to donate to a specific program, like our Ultrasound Initiative, or Neighbors Helping Neighbors, or disaster relief. Or, you can choose to donate "where it is needed most,” which gives us the maximum flexibility to act swiftly when and where the need is greatest whether it be in any one of our charitable, educational, religious, social welfare, military families and wounded or disabled military personnel, or public relief programs.

Please answer the call of Pope Francis by sending a generous donation to our 2013 Annual Appeal to help more people than ever? Donate today by clicking here, or simply fill out and return the forms that have been mailed to you (credit cards accepted).

Our Order is growing stronger by the day, and by working together, we know that the best is yet to come!

Thank you!.
