Press dispatches from the Continent recently carried news of another miraculous cure at the Grotto of Lourdes. Miss Mary McCormic, a young Texas girl who became a grand opera prima donna and now divides her time between the Paris Opera and the Chicago Opera, where she made her debut four years ago, was the beneficiary. Following is Miss McCormic's own account of her cure, written expressively for "Columbia." (November 1924)
