Membership and Recruitment Awards
Round Tables
Round Tables are not only a way for a council to serve a parish, but also a great way to recruit new members. The national average of new members per active Round Table is currently three.
During the last fraternal year, councils established 4,326 Round Tables, a new record. Based on the number of Round Tables that filed the annual report, each state deputy who reached his jurisdiction’s Round Tables quota received a gift certificate.

New Council Development
New Council Development and council reactivation continue to be the foundation of the Order’s growth and our goal to establish a Knights of Columbus presence in every parish. During the past fraternal year, 286 new councils were instituted and 101 councils were reactivated.
A state deputy attaining the new council development quota for his jurisdiction receives the Supreme Knight’s New Council Development Award. This plaque bears a replica of the jewel of office for the state deputy and lists the councils instituted during the fraternal year.
