Convention Chairmen Are Prepared
Price Hatcher and Roger Muller stood at the center of a whirl of activity like the calm eye of a storm. The two are co-chairmen of the Denver convention, and it was a tribute to their organizational skills, exercised in meetings over the past 18 months, that they were able observe their painstaking plans in operation.
“After so many months of preparation, it is great to see it all finally come together. There were some hitches last week, and we really were wondering what would happen when things got started, but everything seems to be working well today,” said Muller, who is Colorado state deputy. “I’ve got a great team of people in every area working here so I don’t have to do too much.”
Hatcher is past state deputy (2001-2003) and Former Supreme Warden.
“Our focus is to have everyone who comes here to enjoy their visit to Colorado,” he said. “If we take care of all the details, and solve whatever issues they have, then that’s exactly what will happen. People will have an enjoyable time, and I think we can see it happening already.”
Muller added, with a smile, “I don’t want to say I can wait till it’s over, but it will be a good feeling when we can look back and say we did everything we could to make the convention a success.”
