International Family of The Year

Past State Deputy Recognition

State deputies work year-round to promote the principles of the Order: Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. As past state deputies, they represent a valuable source of encouragement, wisdom and leadership for their successors and the Order as a whole. It is, therefore, only appropriate that the board of directors annually recognize the accomplishments of the immediate past state deputies.

As we honor them, we also express our heartfelt gratitude to their wives. These women shared with their husbands most of the responsibilities of leading their respective jurisdictions. Together, they helped promote Columbianism and are to be congratulated for their dedication to the task.

Each immediate past state deputy receives a plaque expressing the appreciation of the board of directors for his dedicated service and leadership. Each plaque bears the state deputy’s jewel and the seal of the appropriate jurisdiction. Its inscription reads as follows:

PRESENTED TO (NAME) IN APPRECIATION FOR HIS DEDICATED LEADERSHIP AS STATE DEPUTY (YEARS OF SERVICE) BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
