Knights of Columbus general agents and field agents make it their business to provide the life insurance protection members and their families need. The men of the field force are devoted and concerned advisers, trained to be of service to Knights and their families.

The two leading general agents and the two leading field agents for calendar year 2004 and their wives were special guests of the Order’s Board of Directors at the 123rd Supreme Council meeting in Chicago, where they were recognized for their outstanding performance.

The two leading general agents were Gilles Duval of Sudbury, Ontario, and Don Gould of Santa Ana, Calif. Duval met 217.1 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $7,063. His total gross volume was $76,783,000. Gould met 204.8 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $9,713. His total gross volume was $94,032,000.

The two leading field agents were Daniel Dean of the Bouchard Agency in Alberta and John Seguin of the Faford Agency in Massachusetts.

Dean met 403 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $26,220 and total gross volume of $26,797,000. Seguin met 392 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $14,676 and a total gross volume of $11,521,000.
