Holy Cross of Bauan Council 8536 in Batangas undertakes a cleaning drive at its church four times a year. Knights pay special attention to cleaning the electric fans at the church, which provide much-needed air circulation during the warm weather.

St. John of God Council 8754 and St. Rafael Archangel Circle 3525, both in Bulacan, participated in a town-sponsored 50K bikeathon Feb. 4. Knights also served as marshals during the event, providing support to bikers. In addition, the council led parishioners in praying the rosary before Mass on the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Finally, Knights sponsored a marriage vow renewal ceremony Feb. 19 in honor of Valentine's Day.

Ruben Cruz of Immaculate Conception Council 14405 in Cainta gets participants fired up during a council-sponsored 3K marathon. Knights sponsored the fun run for area young people.

Members of Divine Mercy Council 15139 in Severina remove overgrown trees and brush from a vacant lot that will serve as the future site of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Church. Knights and parishioners cleaned the lot in preparation for the start of construction.

Members of San Isidro Labrador Council 10159 in Agusan donated 14 bags of cement and volunteered to finish the floor of a new chapel in their community. Knights undertook the project at the request of a lay minister, who was concerned about the chapel's dirt floor.

St. Paul Council 10775 in Inabanga disseminated information about the reproductive health bill that is being considered by the Philippines government during a civic action program. The Knights in the Philippines stand with the Catholic bishops in opposing the bill. The council also participated in a fluvial parade for the feast of St. Anthony Abad.

St. Augustine Council 11580 in Bohol hosted a mass wedding for 51 couples in honor of Valentine's Day. All of the couples also underwent a marriage enrichment seminar.

St. John Nepomucene Council 12075 in Bacolod City, along with several other community groups, planted approximately 2,000 seedlings along the banks of the Sum-ag River as part of an environmental protection campaign.
