Hot Springs Council 6419 celebrated St. Patrick's Day and the 30th anniversary of Hot Springs Centennial Assembly with a gala for members, their wives and friends. Along with Irish music, guests enjoyed a meal of corned beef and cabbage.

In appreciation for the council's support of deployed military personnel as well as the military community at Fort Campbell, Father Emil Kapaun Council 12965 in Oak Grove received a U.S. flag that flew during combat operations in Afghanistan.

Members of Marquette Council 1437 in New Orleans volunteered to serve dinner at Ozanam Inn, a homeless shelter. The council also collected beads following Mardi Gras that students at St. Michael's Special School will repackage and sell for Mardi Gras 2013. Recycling the beads will keep plastic out of the landfills and provide funds for the school.

Pope John XXIII Council 3743 in Baton Rouge held a pro-life baby bottle drive at St. Aloysius Church that raised more than $8,500 for the Pregnancy Problem Center.

Bossier City Council 4873 provides approximately half of the financial support needed to operate the Christ the King Food Pantry, which has grown from serving 30 families a month in 1990 to about 4,770 at present. Knights also host food drives throughout the year to keep the pantry stocked and volunteer alongside parishioners from three area churches to sort and distribute food.

Msgr. Frances D. Urbanovsky Assembly in Somerville held a benefit raffle that raised $4,000 to benefit area seminarians, retired priests and other charitable initiatives.

Southwest Council 3910 in Houston hosted six fish frys during Lent to benefit St. Thomas More Church and the council's charitable fund. Proceeds from last year's fish frys — as well as other fundraising initiatives — enabled the council to purchase new vestments for St. Thomas More Church. In addition, the council hosted a smoked chicken fundraiser to benefit the parish and other charities.

Good Shepherd Council 6358 in Schertz donated $2,000 toward the creation of a Veterans Memorial Plaza in Schertz. The donation was made in memory of deceased council members who served in the military.

Katy Council 6950 and Joseph M. Walla Circle 2738 marched in the Katy Rodeo Parade, winning a prize for best patriotic parade entry.

Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Circle 5473 in Arlington sold fresh fruit at its parish, raising $300 to support seminarians.
