Fourth Degree Knights from in and around Victoria stand on the steps of the B.C. Legislature with other pro-life advocates during the B.C. March for Life May 10. Knights joined three bishops, 30 priests and religious, and about 2,000 others to protest Canadian laws that erode the sanctity of human life.

Father John Crowley Assembly in China Lake provided an honor guard for the naming of the parish hall at St. Ann Church. The hall was named in honor of Msgr. Kevin Cleary, who was pastor of the church for many years.

Pope John Paul II Assembly in West Hartford provided an honor guard for the Divine Mercy Sunday celebration at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle. The afternoon included prayers, veneration of a relic of St. Faustina and a social hour.

St. Damien Assembly in Makakilo provided an honor guard for Bishop Clarence R. Silva of Honolulu during a confirmation Mass at St. Joseph Waipahu Church.

Cardinal John Cody Assembly in Chicago provided an honor guard for the opening ceremony of the Hines Veterans Games at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. Eighty-five veterans, many with disabilities, competed in the games.

Rev. Juan Padilla Assembly in Emporia provided an honor guard for a First Communion Mass at Sacred Heart Church in which 40 young people received the sacrament.

Jose P. Rizal Assembly in Cainta provided an honor guard for a reenactment of the burial of Christ on Good Friday.

Cardinal Flahiff Assembly in Winnipeg held a dinner and silent auction fundraiser that netted $2,000 for Chez Nous, a drop-in center for the needy and homeless at St. Theresa Parish.

Richmond Assembly and Father John R. Hogan Assembly in Port Huron provided an honor guard at the tomb of Christ at St. Mary's Church following Good Friday Mass.

Fourth Degree Knights from throughout the state participate in a rosary procession to the Cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul. Knights joined about 1,000 participants for the procession, including Auxiliary Bishop Lee A. Helena Mueller, an eighth-grade student at Corpus Christi School in Chambersburg, crowns a statue of Mary during a May crowning Mass hosted by Chambersburg Council 1426. Knights purchased a new statue of Mary for the ceremony and participated in all aspects of the event, which had not been held at the parish for many years. Father F.C. Noel Assembly provided an honor guard.

Chester County Assembly provided an honor guard for a confirmation Mass at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Parkesburg. Archbishop Charles J. Chaput of Philadelphia celebrated the Mass.

Father T.W. Rosenteel Assembly in Sharpsburg provided an honor guard for eucharistic adoration at St. Mary of the Assumption Church on Holy Thursday. Ten Sir Knights stood guard for 30-minutes intervals from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Msgr. J. Ernest Lemieux Assembly in Quebec donated $3,000 to the Joseph Patry Center for Faith Education to assist in preparing young people to receive the sacraments of the Church. Since the introduction of Bill 118 in Quebec, faith education has been removed from the schools and has become the sole responsibility of parishes. The council's donation will help the faith education center modernize its services through the acquisition of multimedia and interactive teaching materials.

L'assemblée Mgr. J. Ernest Lemieux au Québec a fait don de 3000$ au Centre d'éducation de la foi Joseph-Patry pour aider dans la formation des jeunes à recevoir les sacrements de l'Église. Depuis l'entrée en vigueur de la Loi 118 au Québec, l'éducation religieuse a été supprimée dans les écoles et elle est devenue une responsabilité réservée aux paroisses. Le don du conseil aidera le centre d'éducation de la foi à moderniser ses services par l'acquisition de matériel interactif et des outils multimédia pour l'enseignement.

Pere Rene Menard Assembly in Wausau provided an honor guard for a Mass celebrating the 65th ordination anniversary of Father Donald Berg, who has been a Knight for more than 60 years and who served previously as the assembly's faithful friar. The assembly also provided an honor guard for the closing of an area 40 Days for Life campaign on Holy Thursday outside of a contraception provider.

Our Lady of Lourdes Assembly in Oshkosh participated in a Mass for students from the four Catholic schools of Oshkosh. In addition to providing an honor guard for the Mass, Knights also led a discussion about the Order, the significance of the K of C colors, and the meaning of the U.S. and Papal flags.
