Escalante Council 1136 in Provo donated $45,000 to purchase two stained-glass windows that depict Palm Sunday and the Last Supper for the new St. Francis of Assisi Church in Orem. Money for the donation came from the investment of council funds over the years that were originally intended to build a council hall. When this plan fell through, Knights instead used the money for charitable outreach. Over the past decade, the council has donated more than $75,000 for building projects at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
