Each year, Msgr. Joseph Devlin Council 12194 in Anita hosts a picnic at Lake Anita for men and women answering the call to the priesthood or religious life. The picnic is an opportunity for Knights to express their gratitude for those discerning a vocation. In attendance were a number of parish priests, as well as a young woman who is joining the Dominican Sisters of Mary.

Members of Manhattan Council 1832 remove rock, soil and mulch from the playground at Manhattan Catholic School in preparation for the construction of a retaining wall. Over the summer, Knights undertook a project to renovate the school's playground area. Council members trimmed trees and grass, leveled the grounds, and built a retaining wall to keep rock from falling through the fence and onto the public sidewalk.

Minnesota District #48 raised $20,000 to purchase an ultrasound machine for the University LifeCare Center at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis through the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative. Knights raised the money over 18 months through individual and council contributions and a variety of fundraisers.

Eleven men were ordained permanent deacons for the Diocese of New Ulm at the Church of St. Mary in Sleepy Eye. Of the 11 deacons, 10 are members of the Knights in Districts 17, 20, 25, 36 and 38.

Chisholm Council 3539 purchased 500 pounds of potatoes from an area supermarket and donated the spuds to the Chisholm Food Shelf.

Beatrice Council 1723 raised $1,000 for MOSAIC during the council's annual fund drive for people with intellectual disabilities.

St. Joseph Council 12819 in Norman hosted a benefit breakfast that raised nearly $7,000 for the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative.
