Kumintang Assembly in Balayan provided an honor guard for the feast of St. Roch at the island parish of Tingloy Batangas Aug. 15. The parish is currently celebrating its 75th anniversary.

Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Assembly in Tarlac provided an honor guard for a procession honoring the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sept. 8.

Nuestra Señora de Candelaria Council 5622 in Silang organized a tree planting and mountain climbing activity at Mt. Pico de Loro, the highest peak in Cavite. The council invited other groups, such as Nuestra Señora de la Leche Council 15549 and the Cavite Farmers Feedmilling and Marketing Cooperative, to participate in the event. Participants planted several trees on the mountainside and reveled in the glory of nature for the afternoon.

Urdaneta Council 5912 planted 20 new mango trees outside of Immaculate Conception Cathedral.

Diego Silang Council 7656 in Quezon City hosted a tree planting project in celebration of the 35th death anniversary of Father George J. Willman, known as the "Father McGivney of the Philippines."

Bulacan Council 7745 sponsored a free breakfast for parishioners at Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion Church in honor of the parish's feast day. The council also participated in celebrations on Marcelo H. Del Pilar Day. Finally, Knights launched a project to clean the ground of an area school during the present academic year to prevent the nesting of disease-spreading insects.

St. Catherine Council 8449 in Gattaran constructed a new set of stairs at an area cemetery. Knights donated blocks, cement, gravel and sand to complete the project.

San Isidro-San Roque Council 9440 in Bulacan hosted its annual tree planting activity. Knights planted 50 assorted saplings that will eventually grow into fruit-bearing trees.

Mary, Queen of the Apostles Council 9877 in Parañaque spread 25 truckloads of new sand and gravel over their parish playground and parking lot, respectively. Knights volunteered 1,500 hours to refurbish these parts of the parish grounds. The council also held its biannual medical and dental mission for needy members of the community. Volunteer doctors and dentists saw patients who would otherwise not be able to afford medical consultations.

San Isidro Labrador Council 10610 in Tubao teamed with area students to plant 500 fruit and mahogany saplings on the campus of Don Rufino Olarte Memorial High School.

Father Jose Hewvagen Council 12760 in Bucay Abra planted new trees alongside a local road to prevent soil erosion and mudslides during the rainy season.

Our Lady of Fatima Council 13137 in Signal Village, in collaboration with village officials, sponsored a free haircut and eye consultation for residents Aug. 16. The council also sponsored a prayer program with one of the Order's traveling images of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Members of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Council 14323 in San Pedro cleaned drainage gutters in their community to help prevent flooding and the presence of standing water. The project aimed to reduce the mosquito population, which is responsible for spreading diseases like dengue fever.

Father Paguia Council 3362 in Zamboanga City hosted a free feeding program for needy children Aug. 1.

St. Augustine Council 7639 and Señor San Roque de Lacasa Council 14143, both in Hinatuan, erected an arch at the entrance of St. Augustine Church to celebrate the feast of St. Augustine. Knights provided funds and manpower to erect the arch.

Immaculate Conception Council 12608 in the Doña Soledad Subdivision distributed used clothing and relief goods to 250 needy families in the Massim region of the island.

Bishop Manuel M. Mascariñas Assembly in Tubigon provides an honor guard for the officiating priest of the Lay Liturgical Ministry who celebrates the first Sunday Mass at the assembly's parish each month.

St. William Council 5984 in Passi City participated in a free medical mission for needy members of the community Sept. 9.

San Sebastian Council 9694 in Jamindan collected canned goods, used clothing and 4,000 pesos (approximately $95) to assist flood victims who were impacted by recent typhoons and monsoons.
