St. Edward Council 707 in Clinton hosted a pro-life baby bottle drive at the two parishes that the council serves. The drive netted $3,547 for The Pregnancy Center in Clinton.

Onawa-Blencoe Council 6249 held a charity breakfast to raise funds for Monona County Right to Life. Proceeds from the breakfast will help the group purchase pro-life banners and signs to be placed throughout Monona County.

St. Augustin Council 10558 in Des Moines hosted the September meeting of ManUp, a Catholic fellowship group that seeks to inspire men to be faith-driven leaders in their families, parishes and communities. The evening included rosary, Mass, food and two speakers followed by a discussion.

Eleven K of C Councils from in and around St. Michael co-hosted a fundraising dinner and silent auction that raised $30,000. Just under 600 people attended the event, which included silent auctions and a number of speakers. Funds from the event will be used to purchase a new ultrasound machine for the Cornerstone Women's Center through the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative.

Beatrice Council 1723 hosted its annual picnic for council members and their families. At the event, Knights celebrated all that the council had accomplished over the previous fraternal year.

Abbot Gilbert Hess Council 1720 in Milbank hosted a golf tournament that raised $2,000 toward the restoration of St. Lawrence Church.
