Bill McCullough of St. Jude Council 11604 in Jacksonville deposits a worn U.S. flag on the pyre during a flag retirement ceremony co-hosted by Council 11604 and Bishop Edward Fitzgerald Assembly. Knights properly retired more than 60 U.S. flags that were no longer suitable for display before hosting a barbecue dinner that raised more than $1,000 for charity. The council also hosted a voter registration drive prior to the U.S. presidential election in November.

Santa Clarita Assembly sponsored the creation of a cyber café at the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center in North Hills. Knights donated $3,000 to outfit the café with computer hardware that will allow veterans at the center to surf the Internet, check email and keep track of medical records.

Padre Pio Assembly in Lake Elsinore provided an honor guard for the ordination of Deacon Raymond Moon, who is a member of St. Frances of Rome Council 7809.

When Isabella Assembly in Southington hosted a meeting for Connecticut district masters, Knights attended the meeting while their wives filled Christmas bags with warm clothing and personal items for needy members of the community.

Members of Msgr. Joseph Fitzgerald Council 14014 in Huntington served as ushers while Rev. James McCarten Assembly in Monroe provided an honor guard for a confirmation Mass celebrated by Cardinal Edward M. Egan, archbishop emeritus of New York, at St. Lawrence Church in Shelton.

Bishop Charles B. McLaughlin Assembly in Brandon delivered 60 turkeys, along with side dishes, to a homeless shelter for veterans in Tampa. Funds for the food were raised at an assembly-sponsored sock hop. The assembly also sponsored a Christmas party for veterans at the Haley Cove Nursing Home in Tampa. The event included talks, a troupe of dancers and food. Knights also presented the veterans with gifts of clothing and socks.

Fort Lauderdale Council 3080 and Father Michael J. Mullaly Assembly co-sponsored a corporate Communion Nov. 25, 2012, at St. Pius X Church to coincide with a visit of one of the Order's traveling icons of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Barney Gonyea Council 7109 in Safety Harbor cleaned and refurbished the Marian shrine at Espiritu Santo Church in honor of the shrine's 10th anniversary. Knights cleaned the area around the shrine, refurbished the statue of Mary, and installed new benches and shrubs. More than 200 parishioners attended the rededication, which also included an honor guard from Espiritu Santo Assembly.

North Port Council 7997 and San Pedro Assembly participated in the North Port Poinsettia Parade. Members of the color guard marched while other council members rode in a trolley decorated with the council flag and numerous "Keep Christ in Christmas" posters. Knights also sold "Keep Christ in Christmas" magnets to parade spectators.

Bienville Assembly in New Orleans hosted a talk by Bert Stolier, a warrant officer from the U.S. Marines who survived the attack on Pearl Harbor and went on to have a distinguished career in the Pacific theater during World War II.

Archbishop Francisco R. Cruces Assembly in Laoag City provided an honor guard for the Virgen Milagrosa Festival.

Holy Spirit Assembly in Kennebunk participated in the Trek Across Maine bicycle trip to benefit the American Lung Association. The K of C team traveled 180 miles across the state on bicycle, raising more than $12,000 for charity. The assembly also hosted a ceremony on Veterans Day at Atria of Kennebunk, an elder care facility. Knights honored 10 veterans living at the facility.

Father Andrew White Assembly in Ridge provided an honor guard for and participated in the annual Veterans Day program in Helen. Knights laid a commemorative wreath at the foot of the veterans memorial there.

Cotabato City Council 3504 and an honor guard from Bishop Francis J McSorley Assembly participated in a community procession to celebrate the feast of Christ the King. Following the procession, Knights assisted with the construction of a metal arch for use during other upcoming festivals. The council also participated in a blood drive hosted by another civic group.

Bishop Griffin Assembly in Mercer County, Bishop George W. Ahr Assembly in Allentown and Anima Christi Assembly in Berlin provided an honor guard for a High Latin Mass that was celebrated at St. Hedwig Church in Trenton Nov. 27, 2012. Broadcast by EWTN and held in honor of the Year of Faith, this was reportedly the first Mass of this kind celebrated in the diocese in more than 40 years.

Franciscan Friars Assembly in Butler provided an honor guard for a procession held in honor of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The Hispanic community from in and around Pompton Lakes walked five miles and visited four different communities to pray and replicate the journey of St. Juan Diego. Following the procession, participants enjoyed a fiesta of food and music.

St Gaspar del Bufalo Assembly in Minster donated two chalices and ciboria to two visiting priests from Romania. Both of the chalices were offered in the memory of deceased Knights.

Fourth Degree Knights surround a statue of St. Kateri Tekakwitha during a celebration at the Shrine of the North American Martyrs in Midland. Knights from several assemblies provided an honor guard for the event, which celebrated St. Kateri's canonization.

Faithful Commander Jason Kwok and Faith Navigator Ken Ranghel of Blessed John Paul II Assembly in Markham prepare to lay a wreath at a veterans memorial in honor of Remembrance Day. Knights participated in a Remembrance Day parade and ceremony organized by the Markham District Veterans Association.

An honor guard from Father Denys Baron Assembly in Pittsburgh, along with Knights from several councils in southwest Pennsylvania, participated in the annual wreath-laying ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville. With approximately 1,000 local citizens attending the ceremony, the Knights helped to place 5,000 Christmas wreaths on the headstones at the cemetery.

For the past nine years, Hilton Head Assembly has collected donations for its annual "Operation Phone Home for the Holidays" program. The funds are used to purchase calling cards for U.S. troops serving overseas. To date, the assembly has collected more than $117,000, which is equivalent to about 2.35 million minutes.

Pope John Paul II Assembly in Camas donated 10 U.S. flags, along with poles and mounting brackets, to Pacific Crest Academy. The flags will be displayed in the school's classrooms.

Mother Teresa Council 12036 and Pope John Paul II Assembly, both in Charles Town, co-hosted their semiannual blood drive at St. James Church. The drive netted 48 units of blood for the American Red Cross.
