El Cardunal Assembly in Elgin provided an honor guard for the opening of the Simbang Gabi novena at St. Catherine of Siena Church. The novena, a Filipino tradition, takes place on the nine days leading up to Christmas.

Cardinal Cody Council 8070 in Northlake honored parishioners from St. John Vianney Church who displayed Christmas crèches in front of their homes. Knights presented families who displayed a nativity scene with a special certificate.

St. Mary Council 11666 in Huntley treated more than 40 altar servers to breakfast at a local restaurant. Knights annually recognize the servers for their dedication to St. Mary Parish.

Msgr. Herman P. Fedewa Assembly in Howell donated 90 small U.S. flags to Brighton High School. The flags will be displayed in each classroom.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Council 7444 in Milford collaborated with students at Milford High School to collect food for the needy during the holidays. Students collected 8,000 cans of food, which they delivered to the council. Knights then divided these into baskets for many families, supplementing the canned goods with council-purchased perishable items.

For the past four years, members of St. Martha Council 10006 in Okemos has formed an a cappella group called Knights in Harmony that performs Christmas songs at restaurants and bars throughout the area. While singing at more than 20 establishments, the men raised $5,225 for the local food banks.

De Soto Assembly in Fremont provided an honor guard for a Mass celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Joseph Church.

Msgr. Lang Council 1039 in Defiance hosted its annual Christmas dinner for senior citizens Dec. 16, 2012. Knights made 250 meals for seniors who came to dine at the council hall and delivered another 250 to homebound seniors and those in extended care facilities. In addition to serving the food and singing Christmas carols, Knights also presented the seniors with fruit baskets.

St. Joseph Council 13977 in Austintown collected $450 in donations to purchase 65 teddy bears for the Akron Children's Hospital in Boardman. The bears were given to children who were existing patients or were admitted to the hospital at Christmastime.

Los Caballeros de Sandusky County Council 15036 in Fremont hosted its annual Christmas dinner, which included a Posada celebration co-hosted with the Guadalupana Society. Knights filled treat bags and a piñata for attendees and handed out refreshments.

Msgr. John R. McGinley Council 1170 in Stevens Point donated more than $8,100 to help needy residents with food and warm clothing during the holidays. Knights and their wives packed and delivered boxes of food to 50 recipients. The council also delivered 48 new winter coats to Operation Bootstrap for distribution to children through the Coats for Kids program. At the time of the delivery, the council discovered that Operation Bootstrap was also in need of winter gloves for adult men. In response, Knights donated 21 pairs of gloves.

St. Joseph Council 6508 in Edgerton funded and built a new staircase and wheelchair ramp for the thrift store/food pantry at Edgerton Community Outreach. Prior to the Knights undertaking the project, the building only had an exterior staircase, and clients with disabilities could not get inside.
