Knights from Luzon District #25 gathered Dec. 30, 2012, to celebrate national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. The event included a parade and memorial program.
General Licerio I. Geronimo Assembly in Rodriguez provided an honor guard for a community celebration on the feast of Santo Niño.
St. Augustine Council 4317 and St. Augustine Circle 2328, both in Baliuag, packed canned goods, noodles, rice and medicine for victims of a recent typhoon.
Santo Niño Council 6181 in Parañaque hosted a "Light Up for Christ" program at its parish with Christmas lanterns and a manger made from native materials. The council also distributed 900 bags of candy and toys to needy children on Christmas day. Finally, Knights decorated their parish with bunting for the feast of Santo Niño Jan. 20.
Divine Shepherdess Council 7400 in San Nicholas spent the day before Christmas ministering to the street children of the City of Gapan. The day started with a bath and haircut for those in attendance, followed by a visit to a local mall and park for food and entertainment. At the end of the day, the children received gifts of toys, clothes, bath towels and slippers.
Banal Na Sakramento Council 8753 in Quezon City erected a K of C pro-life billboard in its community. Council members and their families also attend a bi-weekly fraternal rosary.
St. Ignatius of Loyola Council 12237 in Ususan delivered groceries, clothes and medical supplies to needy members of the community as part of a Christmas initiative Dec. 30, 2012.
Our Lady of Lourdes Council 13059 in Laoag City, together with members of the Philippine Army assigned at Ilocos Norte, provided security and assistance at St. William Cathedral when a relic of St. Therese visited the church Jan. 3-6. The council also distributed 350 tote bags filled with candy and snacks to children who attended the feast of Santo Niño at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Jan. 20.
Our Lady of Fatima Council 13137 in Signal Village constructed a roof for the back portion of a health care center in South Signal Village. This enclosed area will house patients who are waiting to receive medical and dental treatment.
