Onawa-Blencoe Council 6249 hosted a Christmas drive to benefit needy families. With several drop-off points, Knights collected toys, food, clothing and other items that were distributed to families through West Central Development Outreach. The council also co-sponsored a bus trip for West Monona High School students to attend a basketball game between Creighton University and the University of Evansville.

St. Patrick Council 643 in Parsons raised $2,500 for charity during the council's annual fund drive for people with intellectual disabilities.

St. Benedict Council 8337 in Duluth hosted its annual pro-life baby shower for the Lake Superior Life Care Center. Knights collected $1,200 in cash and more than a dozen bags and boxes of baby items.

Contractor Pete Buckley, architect Bob Gilcrist and Knight Justin Stanley of St. Peter Council 13988 in Kansas City cut pieces of crown molding while renovating the home of council member Paul Melland. Melland's wife, Michelle, was diagnosed with ALS in 2011 and required a handicapped-accessible bedroom and bathroom at their two-story home. Over a six-month period, Knights and parishioners transformed the home's garage into a new master suite that includes a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The council also raised more than $18,000 to help offset the cost of the renovation.

At its December 2012 meeting, Beatrice Council 1723 assembled 180 Christmas goodie bags for religious education students at St. Joseph School. The council also generated $2,300 for three charitable donations by hosting a series of pancake breakfasts.

Cathedral of the Risen Christ Council 9563 in Lincoln relocated a Stations of the Cross prayer garden that was originally located next to a Planned Parenthood facility to a new location on the grounds of Cathedral of the Risen Christ. Initially constructed in 2010 as a silent witness to the horrors of abortion, the prayer garden was no longer needed in its original location when the Planned Parenthood facility moved. As a result, Knights volunteered to move the garden and its Stations of the Cross to Cathedral of the Risen Christ, where it could continue to be used for quiet reflection.

Holy Cross Council 9642 in West Fargo presented Father James Meyer, pastor of Holy Cross Church and council chaplain, with a Knights of Columbus chasuble and alb. Knights presented the vestments to Father Meyer in appreciation for his support of the Order.

Father Stanley F. Rother Council 3889 in Altus participated in the community's annual Christmas parade. The council took first place for its float in the civic/commercial category.

Holy Family Parish Council 11909 in Lawton provided support to a hurricane relief drive sponsored by St. Mary's School. The drive netted toiletries such as toothpaste, soap, deodorant and hand sanitizer for those affected by the storm.
