Knights and parishioners worked side-by-side to tear down a wooden fence at Willow Square. The wood was then sold to several reuse companies, netting $7,000 for the church building fund.

St. Peter Council 7070 in Edmonton provided funds to newly ordained Father Mathew Hysell during his years in the seminary. The council also provided Father Hysell, who is one of the first deaf priests in Canada, with a chalice to commemorate his ordination.
