July 1 - September 30, 2018
*For Insurance Territories only (United States and Canada)
Every Knight who recruits five men between July 1 and Sept. 30, 2018, will automatically win a $50 KnightsGear gift card! To be eligible for the $50 gift card, you must be listed as the proposer on either the Form 100 or the Online Membership application. All membership applications must be processed by September 30th.
Council membership growth begins with a personal approach to perspective members. In a world where men are more and more conscience of their time, making the Knights of Columbus relevant to each every man and his family is important.
- Listen to a man's needs for himself and his family. How does he want to be involved with in the parish and community?
- Share how your K of C membership helps you and your family to live out your faith, help the community and be closer with each other.
- Connect that man with real programs and opportunities in your council that match his interests. Then, sign him up for membership using a Membership Document (#100) or by visiting kofc.org/joinus and using the Online Membership application.
Every time a brother Knight recruited a new member into the Order between December 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018, his name went into a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 all-expense paid trips to the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, Ireland.
Thank you to all recruiters who participated in this contest and help to grow the Order!
We congratulate the following Knights of Columbus Recruiters who will be traveling to Dublin for the World Meeting of Families.

The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and service program activities. In order to earn the Star Council Award, a council must qualify for the Father McGivney, Founder’s, and Columbian Awards.
*To be eligible for the Star Council Award in the United States and/or Canada, councils must be fully compliant with applicable safe environment requirements.*
District deputies are responsible for ensuring the growth of the Order, and the Star District Award is the ultimate goal of every district deputy. The Star District Award goes to district deputies attaining 100 percent or more of their district’s membership and insurance quotas, and, in addition, at least one of their active councils has to attain one of the levels of Star Council. Award winners receive a wall plaque and a Star District lapel pin, and the district deputies who earn the Star District Award are entered into a drawing to attend the Supreme Convention.
