Healing Haiti’s Children
Through the “Healing Haiti’s Children” program, established by the Knights of Columbus and Project Medishare, every Haitian child who lost a limb as a result of the 2010 earthquake is now eligible for a two-year course of free prosthetics and physical therapy. To date, more than 100 children have been fitted with prosthetics through the program and hundreds more will soon receive the same hope. Out of the Healing Haiti’s Children initiative Team Zaryen was born, Haiti’s amputee soccer team that is working hard to prove that amputees have no limits in ability.

The Gift of Warmth
The Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program is providing warm coats to children in colder climates whose families have been severely impacted by the economic downturn. Since 2009, the Knights of Columbus has distributed more than 70,000 winter coats to children in need throughout the US and Canada. For just $15.00 you too can help by providing one child with a brand new winter coat this year.
