After a successful trip in 2019, this coming spring, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) is once again organizing a mission trip and pilgrimage to Mexico City, exclusively available to college Knights!
The dates of this incredible trip will be May 15-23, 2020. The cost is $2,150, and FOCUS will be providing guidance and assistance with fundraising, should you be accepted.
In the heart of this massive and culturally fascinating metropolis, you'll be working intensely with other Knights and Hope of the Poor for those on the farthest edges of society: anyone from homeless children and elderly, infirm women, or families living in extreme conditions to survive. Not only that, you'll get the opportunity to encounter Our Lady of Guadalupe at the National Basilica, the most visited pilgrimage site in the entire world, nearly every day. You’ll also be able to go on the “Camino de San Juan Diego,” walking in his footsteps along with the footsteps of Knights from the early 1900’s.
The itinerary is still being finalized, but this trip will include:
• Outreach to the poor and homeless
• Daily Mass, Rosary and Adoration
• A visit to the Altar of the Mexican Martyrs who were Knights
• Walking the Camino de San Juan Diego
• A pilgrimage to see the tilma of St. Juan Diego at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe
If you are interested in taking part in this special trip, please apply directly with FOCUS. Applications are due by January 15, 2020. More information and application details can be found at https://focusoncampus.org/missions/trips/latin-america/mexico-city
