New Council Development

New council development and council reactivation are the foundation of the Order’s growth and goal to establish a Knights of Columbus presence in every parish. During the 2012-2013 fraternal year, 229 new councils were instituted and 71 councils were reactivated, with 27 jurisdictions either attaining or surpassing their new council development quota.

Every Council Active

The Every Council Active program encourages all councils to recruit at least one new member during the fraternal year. During the 2012-2013 fraternal year, 11,726 councils added one or more members. All state deputies strive to attain Every Council Active status during their term of office.
