Supreme Knight Carl Anderson addressed the Mexican Bishops Conference in Mexico City on Thursday, Nov. 14. He spoke to the bishops of the history the Knights of Columbus in Mexico, the Order's plans to further develop in Mexico in solidarity with the bishops, and importance of the new evangelization being pioneered through solidarity between the Churches in America, inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe, star of the New Evangelization, and now being highlighted in a particular way by Pope Francis - who hails from this continent. Citing Blessed John Paul II's Apostolic Exhortation, Ecclesia in America, the Supreme Knight spoke of the need for solidarity within the American hemisphere, particularly between Mexico and the United States.
