The Knights of Columbus is offering a free coloring book as a gift for families and young children unable to leave their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The printable Stations of the Cross coloring book features mosaics from the Via Crucis at the Church of the Mother of God in Mengore, Slovenia. Designed by Jesuit Father Marko Rupnik and the artists of Centro Aletti in Rome, these mosaics are a beautiful way to meditate on the passion and death of Jesus Christ.
Download and print the Stations of the Cross Coloring Book here.
Father Rupnik and Centro Aletti have installed mosaics in more than 130 churches and major pilgrimage sites around the world, including the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C. and the Holy Family Chapel at the Knights of Columbus international headquarters in New Haven, Conn.
Knights are encouraged to use the coloring book as a source for family prayer. After your children color each of the stations, hang the pictures around the house and lead your family in the Stations of the Cross, using the Way of the Cross booklet provided by the Knights of Columbus’ Catholic Information Service, found here.
