This ceremony shall be under the direction of the District Master or whoever he designates. The Installation of Assembly Officers should be completed as soon as practical after the first day of July in the new fraternal year. The virtual installation script can be used when in-person events are not allowed or practical.

This publication identifies a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be followed in formal situations.
This manual provides the accepted drill procedures of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. It has been developed for use by Fourth Degree Color Corps as a standard for uniform drill procedures; Honor Guard/Color Guard procedures; and the Manual of the Sword.
Assemblies that excel in membership recruitment, sponsoring patriotic programs in theircommunities, report to the Supreme Council office and keep their members and others informed of assembly activities areeligibleto earn the Star Assembly Award.
Since the turn of the century, members of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus, “the patriotic degree,” have combined their Catholic heritage with their love of country and sponsored and participated in a variety of interesting patriotic programs and activities. TO BE A PATRIOT has been established to recognize these programs.
