For every $500 your council or assembly donates to a pregnancy resource center or maternity home (up to $2,000), the Supreme Council will donate $100.
On June 24, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, concurrently overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion nationwide nearly 50 years ago. The Knights of Columbus is now strengthening its support for pregnancy resources centers and maternity homes through ASAP, a new pro-life initiative.

Since 2020, Blessed Father Solanus Casey Council 17135 in River Falls, Wis., has held an annual Lunch for Life to raise money for Options for Women, a local pregnancy resource center. This year, their $2,000 donation received a 20% boost through the Order’s new ASAP program.
The Paul Stefan Foundation empowers young women facing unexpected pregnancies to choose life through a wide range of pro-life support, including several maternity homes. Founded by Evelyn and Randy James, a member of Battlefield Council 10246 in Fredericksburg, Va., it is named in honor of their son, Paul Stefan James, who was carried to term and delivered after Evelyn refused advised to have an abortion. From its earliest days, the foundation has received steadfast support from the Knights of Columbus.
