    CANADIAN UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

    This scholarship program, funded by the Fourth Degree, is available to families of all members of the Knights of Columbus in Canada and is not limited to families of Fourth Degree members.

    An applicant must be:

    • Entering freshman year, for a four-year, undergraduate program, leading to a bachelor's degree, at a Canadian college or university.
    • A member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus in Canada, the son or daughter of such a member, or deceased member who at the time of death was in good standing. (Not limited to Fourth Degree members.)

    HISTORY

    Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria (Canada) Scholarships

    At its 1969 meeting in New Haven, Connecticut, the Supreme Council established a fund to provide four scholarships for members, and children of members (including children of deceased members in good standing at time of death) of Canadian councils who attend universities in Canada. The number of scholarships has been increased over the years, and in 1991 the award was increased from $1,000 per year to $1,500 per year.

    APPLICATION

    To start a new application, follow the instructions below:

    1. Go to https://aim.applyISTS.net/KofC
    2. Login to your existing ISTS Account OR create a new account by clicking the “Don’t have an account? Register!” link
      • Be sure to use an email address that you check regularly; do not use a school email address as these expire after graduation
    3. Once you have successfully logged in, you will be redirected to the Scholarship Eligibility Page
      • If you are directed to your ISTS Home Page instead of the application, click the Add New Application button, enter the program key KofC, and click apply.
    4. Complete all required fields, upload your required documents, request all required supplements and click the “Submit” button to save your information.
    5. Return to your ISTS Home Page at https://aim.applyISTS.net to monitor your application status. Your application status must update to Complete to be considered for the scholarship program.
      • Note: Once you are successfully logged in, you will be automatically redirected to the application form. On rare instances (typically as a result of the applicant’s browser settings), you may be redirected to the ISTS home page instead of the application form. In those cases, you would be instructed to click the Add New Application button, enter the Program Key KofC and click Apply.

    JUNE

    Canadian awardees and non-awardees will be notified in late June of the Scholarship Committee’s decision. Scholarship Committee decision on Scholarships are final.
