A Chapel for Cameroon
Members of Father Vincent S. Honoring the Fourth Degree

The Road to Redemption
Knights from St. Anthony of Padua Council 15622 lead more than 1,000 people in the Way of the Cross procession through Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Poland. Participants walked over three miles, praying the Stations of the Cross and singing Lenten hymns. Councils across Poland organize similar events each Lent to encourage devotion in their parishes and communities.
Knightly Wedding
Fourth Degree Knights from St. John Paul II Assembly 3325 and All Saints of China Assembly 3484 in Markham, Ontario, extend a sword arch as Past Grand Knight Tarek Marroushi of Jesus the King Arab Christian Council 15045, and his wife, Mirai, process out of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church in Mississauga following their nuptial Mass. The honor guard was a special request from Tarek, a member of the assembly.
Paving the Way
Knights from Marshal Foch Council 18411 in Tarbes prepare to pour concrete for a new walkway at Tarbes Cathedral. Father David Marie, a priest of the Apostolic Brothers of Jerusalem and the cathedral’s new rector, informed Knights that the walkway to the rectory was in poor condition, and the council responded immediately. In one morning, 15 members removed the old slab of concrete and replaced it.

Council 11126 raised more than $6,600 for the parish from this year’s dinners, which Knights have organized for over 20 years. Sunrise Procession

Salubong involves the procession of two statues — one of the Risen Jesus escorted by men and another of Mary escorted by women. The two processions began at different locations at dawn. Participants traveled about half a mile before arriving at the church together at 6:30 a.m. for Easter Mass.

Blooming Vocations

The Kentucky State Council organized a pilgrimage tour for the reliquary to six different parishes across the state. More than 700 people venerated the relics and received prayer cards and booklets about the martyrs, including three more lay Knights, who were killed during the anti-Catholic persecution in Mexico during the 1920s.

Father Javlon has resided at St. Francis de Sales Parish since March 2024 while completing doctoral studies at The Catholic University of America. The Bibles will be distributed before the end of the year. The council also sent $1,200 to St. Michael’s School in Cameroon, the Catholic school Father Javlon attended as a child, to assist with students’ tuition and teachers’ salaries.
Ready at a Moment’s Notice
Members of St. Oscar Romero Council 16570 in Eastvale, Calif., clean St. Oscar Romero Church’s chapel after a leak in the water heater line caused flooding. Six Knights responded within 15 minutes of a call for help from Father Tomas Guillen, pastor and council chaplain, and restored the chapel in less than an hour.
Grilling Goodness
Knights from John Cardinal Dearden Council 744 in Mount Clemens, Mich., gather behind a new kitchen grill purchased for St. Peter Parish with help from the council. Several council fundraisers and donations from individual Knights generated $10,000 — more than 90% of the total cost. Before the grill’s inaugural use — a breakfast prepared by Council 744 — the grill was blessed by Father John Selvamony.
Font of Faith
Members of Father Edmond McCarthy Council 9428 in Gloucester, Va., install a new baptismal font at the Church of St. Thérèse to replace the church’s old, leaking font. Laurence Mayer, a council member for more than 30 years, designed and constructed the new font in his home workshop after consulting with Father Gregory Kandt, pastor of St. Thérèse. Council 9428 contributed $3,500 to support the project.
A Cross Renewed
Mario Perez, a member of St. Monica Council 12880 in Miami Gardens, Fla., paints a stainless steel cross at the entrance of St. Monica Church. The Knights funded, built and installed the new $1,400 cross to replace an old, rotting wooden cross. The project took about two weeks.
Seminarian Soccer Match
Knights from St. Louis, Roi de France Council 16501 in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer, France, cook approximately 350 chicken legs and 700 sausages for more than 370 seminarians and guests at the 15th annual seminarian soccer tournament in St. Maximin Stadium at the Sainte Baume. Knights from several councils throughout the Diocese of Fréjus-Toulon spent 2,000 euros on food for the tournament, which brings together seminarians from across the country to build community for the Church in France.
Outdoors Stations Restored

McGarry was among many Knights and family members who traveled to the Dominican Republic on a pilgrimage and mission trip from the Archdiocese of Hartford. The $2,100 project was funded by Council 11405 in partnership with Honorable Reverend Thomas F. Gaffney Council 31 in New Britain and the Connecticut Dominican Society.
Feeding Frenzy
Knights from Coffee Run Council 6768 in Hockessin, Del., parish youth and other volunteers serve food during a council Lenten fish fry at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish. Over six weeks, volunteers served more than 2,200 meals and raised more than $26,000 for distribution by Council 6768 to local charities.

Eggs and Blessings
Msgr. James J. Zegers Council 9113 in Marmora, N.J., hosted its annual easter egg hunt for nearly 70 children at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Father Piotr Szamocki, pastor and council chaplain, blessed families’ Easter food baskets prior to the egg hunt, and children had the chance to meet the Easter Bunny.

Holy Week Traditions
Members of Sta. Quiteria Council 8751 led about 100 people in a procession of all saints on the Wednesday of Holy Week through Caloocan City, Luzon North. Knights carried statues of Blessed Michael McGivney, Sto. Niño and Mary, and many more community members processed with their own saint statues. Fourth Degree Knights also provided an honor guard on Holy Thursday as the Eucharist was transferred to an altar of repose.

Rosary Revival
Sagadahoc Council 249 in Bath, Maine, set up a donation box at St. Mary’s Church to collect and share unused rosaries. Over the past five years, the council has collected around 1,000 rosaries, of which about 500 have been taken by parishioners.

Honor and Glory to the Sacred Heart
Father Aloysius Nolan Council 10655 in Kinkora, Ontario, hosted a Sacred Heart Holy Hour with the Order’s icon of the Sacred Heart at St. Patrick Church. Father Jude Ogbenna, associate pastor and a brother Knight, led Eucharistic adoration for around 25 people.

Living Stations
Members of Lemont (Ill.) Council 1599 and their family members performed their second annual live Stations of the Cross for over 75 people at St. Mary’s Retreat House.

Double the Donations
Knights from Mother Seton Council 15540 in Three Bridges, N.J., matched $933 in donations made by parishioners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church’s dinners during Lent. A total of more than $2,700 was donated to Catholic Relief Services’ Rice Bowl campaign, with about $700 going toward local food insecurity programs and more than $2,000 used by CRS’ international programs.

Supporting Seminarians
St. Anne’s Council 8709 in Lodi, Calif., held its annual dinner fundraiser to support seminarians from the Diocese of Stockton at St. Anne’s Church Hall. Council 8709 has been doing this for over 20 years, and this year, about 125 people attended and raised more than $5,000, which was given to the diocese’s Seminarian Education Fund.

A Lasting Tribute
St. John’s River Council 10850 in Jacksonville, Fla., purchased and installed a statue of Blessed Michael McGivney at St. Joseph Church. The statue was unveiled and blessed after a Mass for the feast of St. Joseph, celebrated by Bishop Erik Pohlemier of St. Augustine and attended by over 1,500 parishioners. Fourth Degree Knights from Our Lady, Queen of the Knights Assembly 2679 provided an honor guard for this event.

Cor Ad Cor Loquitur
Mary Immaculate Council 12769 in Secaucus, N.J., hosted a Sacred Heart Holy Hour, which included displaying the Order’s Sacred Heart pilgrim icon, at Immaculate Conception Church. The icon remained displayed the following day for the parish’s first Communion Mass.

Rosary Rally
Gilmour Council 310 in Highland Heights, Ohio, hosted its semiannual rosary rally for the safety of all first responders at Lyndhurst City Hall. Council 310 has organized this rally for over seven years, and more than 30 people came to pray.

Seminarian Dinner
Father Robert W. Davey Council 8808 and Msgr. Thomas R. Horton Assembly 2049 in Saginaw, Mich., hosted their second annual appreciation dinner for religious and clergy serving in the Diocese of Saginaw, which raised over $2,000. A $2,000 check was given to seminarian Charles Warner to help with his financial and educational needs. The donation was made through Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP), so an additional $500 check will be given to seminarian Carter Filhart.

Country-wide Rosary
More than 300 parishioners from St. Raphael Church in Naperville, Ill., including members of St. Raphael Council 14171, gathered at the church to participate in Relevant Radio’s daily Family Rosary Across America segment. The rosary broadcast reached over 220 radio stations across the United States. The Knights invited Relevant Radio to host this daily segment at their parish and went on to coordinate and advertise the event.

Centennial Campaign
Plaquemine (La.) Council 970 donated $100,000 to St. John the Evangelist Church’s capital campaign, which will support the church’s renovation ahead of its 100th anniversary in October 2027. The funds donated by Council 970 came from various fundraisers throughout the past four years.

Feeding Body and Soul
About 200 people attended the inaugural family faith formation breakfast organized by Marquette Council 588 in Sparta, N.J., to celebrate the students and families who attended faith formation throughout the year at Our Lady of the Lake Church.

Founder’s Day Celebration
Knights from Our Mother of Confidence Council 9776 in San Diego celebrated Founder’s Day — March 29, the date on which the Knights of Columbus was formally established — with a votive Mass for Blessed Michael McGivney. Afterward, Council 9776 hosted a barbecue and potluck dinner for around 60 people to celebrate the Order’s founding.

A Sacred Hour
St. Margaret Council 3208 in Lake Charles, La., hosted a Sacred Heart Holy Hour at St. Margaret of Scotland Church with the Order’s pilgrim icon of the Sacred Heart. More than 20 Knights and parishioners attended the prayer service.

Patriotic Rosary
Longmont (Colo.) Assembly 94 hosted its seventh annual patriotic rosary at Roosevelt Park on Memorial Day. More than 30 Knights; parishioners from St. John the Baptist Church and St. Francis of Assisi Church; and other community members gathered to pray for civic and religious leaders.

Parish Cleanup
Members of St. Ann’s Council 11265 in Smithfield, N.C., and their families organized a workday at St. Ann Parish, pulling weeds and landscaping. Knights lead the effort every year, filling several large trash bags with weeds and yard debris at this year’s event.

Celebrating the Sacred Heart
St. Joseph the Worker Council 10200 in Ozark, Mo., and St. Francis of Assisi Council 13748 in Nixa jointly hosted a Sacred Heart Holy Hour at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Ozark. Father Timothy Tran, pastor and Council 10200 chaplain, led the pilgrim icon prayer service for nearly 40 people.

Lighting the Flame of Faith
Incarnation Council 8826 in Collierville, Tenn., donated $10,000 to the youth ministry at Church of the Incarnation and $2,000 to the Diocese of Memphis seminarian fund. The funds were raised through the council’s weekly Lenten fish fries.

A Knight is Handy
Members of St. Ann Byzantine Council 15107 in Harrisburg, Pa., led parishioners of St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church and other volunteers in a spring cleanup at Holy Annunciation Monastery in Sugarloaf, home to Ruthenian Carmelite nuns. Volunteers spent eight hours repairing, cleaning and installing structures throughout the monastery. Knights have led spring and fall cleanups there for more than 15 years.

Retreating to the Sacred Heart
More than 100 Knights, family members and parishioners attended a pilgrim icon prayer service and Sacred Heart Holy Hour at St. Eleanor Church hosted by Perkiomen Valley Council 3633 in Schwenksville, Pa. Msgr. Michael McCulken, pastor and a brother Knight, led the prayer service.

Pillars of Parish Support
Holy Eucharist Council 15791 in Falmouth, Maine, donated over $4,500 to Holy Martyrs Church for its youth and seminarian programs.

Parish-wide Marian Consecration
To mark the 125th anniversary of its establishment on May 13, 1900, Lafayette Council 514 in Dover, N.J., led about 50 parishioners from St. Mary’s Church in a 33-day Marian consecration. The consecration concluded with a Mass on May 13 — the feast of Our Lady of Fatima — during which all present recited the consecration prayer together.

Many Tongues, One Prayer
St. John Vianney Council 7525 in South Burlington, Vt., hosted a multilingual rosary at St. John Vianney Church, with about 30 people participating. Father Tim Naples, pastor and state chaplain, began the rosary, and Knights led three of the five decades, which were prayed in English, Spanish, French, Polish and Swahili.

Dining Like the Pope
St. Francis of Assisi Council 12610 in Mocksville, N.C., hosted a “Dine Like the Pope” dinner at St. Francis of Assisi Church to celebrate the election of Pope Leo XIV, a native of Chicago. Nearly 100 people enjoyed Chicago-style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches at the dinner, which raised more than $800 for the parish.

Recycling Boosts Seminarians
Holy Family Council 6099 in Chattanooga, Tenn., raised over $700 during its May recycling redemption drive to support seminarians from the Diocese of Knoxville. The council organizes similar drives about four times a year, each raising between $500 and $800, and distributes the funds through the Refund Support Vocations Program.

Forming Faithful Warriors
Good Shepherd Council 9076 in San Diego worked with the San Diego Chapter of the Knights of Columbus to host its first Father Jim Boyd Military Outreach Fundraising Dinner to support faith formation for recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. More than 200 people attended, and the event raised nearly $9,000 to purchase Bibles, provide liturgical support and cover other needs.

Chock-full of Charity
Members of St. Joseph Council 7865 in San Antonio helped the Guadalupanas Society with its cake sale after Masses at St. Joseph South San Catholic Church during Mother’s Day weekend. Council 7865 assisted with setup and carried cakes to the cars of older parishioners. The Guadalupanas’ sale raised more than $900 for the parish.

Serving Up Support

After learning that the food pantry needed to replace an aging freezer, Knights approved the donation as part of the pantry’s community fundraiser. Nearly $5,000 was raised from the campaign, allowing the food pantry to purchase two freezers and restock nonperishable food items.

Council 15540 has organized the food drive for more than a decade, and this year collected 1,560 pounds of food — a record amount.

Collecting Food by the Ton

Cornhole Fundraiser

More than 40 Catholic school students, from fourth grade through ninth grade, participated in the annual spelling bee hosted by Montebello (Calif.) Council 3429 at St. Benedict Parish Hall. The council raised over $600 to help purchase a new electronic scoreboard for St. Benedict School.

No Hunt Required
Children from Ascension Church in Bastrop, Texas, collected more than 2,000 eggs distributed by members of Ascension Bastrop Council 14943 after Easter Sunday Masses. The council hosts an annual Easter egg hunt at the parish, but due to rain this year, Knights handed out the eggs instead.

Frying Up Hope
When a storm left some Wahoo, Neb., residents without electricity for up to a week, members of Wahoo Council 1833 prepared and served free meals to help families affected. During the council’s regularly scheduled fish fry dinner at St. Wenceslaus Parish, Knights served more than 140 people at no cost.

Welcome Home
St. Anne Council 8709 in Lodi, Calif., hosted a welcome pancake breakfast on Holy Saturday morning for people preparing to enter the Church, their sponsors and their families. Nearly 200 guests were served and enjoyed a morning of fellowship before the Easter Vigil.

Room Service
Over the past year, members of Jacksonville (Ark.)-St. Jude Council 11604 have helped deliver more than 63,000 meals to homebound residents of the Jacksonville Senior Wellness and Activity Center. By volunteering with the center’s Meals on Wheels program, the Knights helped save the center more than $16,000.

Mobility Assistance
Members of Father Placide Dobyns Council 1819 in Bogalusa, La., installed a railing and a ramp in the homes of two older adults in Washington Parish. The railing was donated by a parishioner of Annunciation Catholic Church, and Council 1819 spent $425 to purchase the ramp.

Food Pantry Filled
Santa Maria Council 195 in Wilmington, Del., collected nearly 2,000 pounds of food and more than $5,000 during its annual drive at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. The donations were given to local pantries and kitchens through the Food for Families program.

Graduates Take Flight
Michael O’Connor Council 5026 in Beaufort, S.C., awarded three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors from St. Peter’s Church. The council began awarding scholarships in 2020.

Camping With Christ
Knights from Father Richard E. Gubbels Council 15603 in Ankeny, Iowa, organized a camping weekend for parishioners of St. Luke’s Church at Prairie Flower Campground. About 40 people spent the weekend praying, sharing meals and enjoying outdoor activities. Father Ken Halbur, a council member, celebrated Mass on Saturday evening, followed by a potluck dinner.

St. John Council 1338 in Lewistown, Pa., sold cheesesteaks at a recent street fair at Sacred Heart School, raising nearly $900. The proceeds will help offset tuition costs and support school activities and assemblies.

More than 60 people attended to watch the race and enjoyed a catered dinner, music and more. The event raised over $6,500 for several Catholic charities as well as Protect Life Michigan, 40 Days for Life, parish projects, and Tunnel to Towers, which supports veterans and first responders.

St. Christopher Council 3682 in Indianapolis hosted its annual golf outing at West Chase Golf Club. More than 70 people participated, raising over $11,000 for the council’s Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids drive, St. Christopher Parish and other charitable causes.

Rock, Paper, Scissors
Charlebois Council 2704 in The Pas, Manitoba, hosted its annual Rock, Paper, Scissors challenge at École Scott Bateman Middle School. About 300 students competed in 16 classroom contests, culminating in a final championship round. Council 2704 awarded cashprizes totaling CA$120 to the top four finishers and presented a personalized plaque to the overall winner.

After a tornado struck Grinnell, Kan., on May 18, destroying about 20 homes, Knights from several area councils distributed water and $300 gift cards from the Kansas State Council’s emergency response program to affected families.

Carnival Time
More than a dozen Delaware councils and assemblies participated in the annual carnival at the Wilmington VA Medical Center, celebrating its 75th anniversary. Archbishop Fitzmaurice Assembly 148 and Santa Maria Council 195 in Wilmington sponsored a game booth visited by 60 veterans and family members.

Helping Vets Back on Their Feet
St. John Neumann Assembly 478 in Clinton Township, Mich., hosted its second annual used household items drive at St. Paul of Tarsus Church. Donated items — along with more than $2,000 given during the fraternal year — went to Vets Returning Home, a transitional housing program for veterans.

Bowls of Blessings
St. Thomas Aquinas Council 15357 in St. Cloud, Fla., partnered with parish ministries and a Catholic Charities health clinic to host “Bowls of Blessings,” raising more than $18,000. Proceeds were divided among four organizations: Catholic Charities, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence, and a local pregnancy resource center.

Helping Others
Knights from St. Leonard Council 8986 in Madison, Neb., distributed nearly $6,000 — proceeds from weekly Lenten fish fries — to local and national causes, including St. Leonard Catholic School, a food pantry, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and a nonprofit serving children with disabilities.

Goals for Charity
Knights compete in a charity hockey game against the Flying Fathers — a team composed entirely of Catholic priests from Canada — during the Ontario State Convention in April. The state council’s team was coached by State Deputy Bruce Poulin and led by goalie Deputy Supreme Knight Arthur Peters. The event drew about 400 spectators and raised more than CA$5,000 for Special Olympics Ontario.
Crossing the Bridge
An honor guard of Knights from Bishop Flaget Assembly 307 in northern Kentucky leads the 20th annual Cross the Bridge for Life walk across the Purple People Bridge from Kentucky to Ohio. Bishop Ackerman Council 5453 in Burlington, Ky., also helped lead the march and provided doughnuts to the thousands of participants.
Seeing Hearts Beat

Marcha Por La Vida
Knights and their families from across Mexico participate in the National March for Life in Mexico City. More than 2,000 people walked over a mile from the Monument to the Revolution to the capital city’s congress building, protesting pro-abortion legislation and holding a moment of silence for children lost to abortion.
Surpassing 1,000 Units of Blood
Members of Star of the Sea Council 7297 in Rehoboth Beach, Del., receive a certificate of appreciation from the American Red Cross for helping to collect more than 1,000 units of blood since partnering with the Red Cross in October 2020. For the past five years, the council has hosted about three blood drives per year in the parish hall at St. Edmond’s Catholic Church.

Knights from St. Mary of the Assumption Council 14722 in Glenshaw, Pa., present an $18,000 check for the purchase of a new ultrasound machine for Women’s Choice Network. The $18,000 came from private donations and breakfast fundraisers hosted by Council 14722 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church and St. Ursula Church. Council 14722 has helped with the ultrasound program since 2012, with this being the fifth machine the Knights have helped fund.
A Blessing for Moms and Babies
Bishop Frank Dewane of Venice blesses a new ultrasound machine purchased by Ponce de Leon Council 8074 in Punta Gorda, Fla., for Pregnancy Solutions’ North Port facility. The council raised more than $20,000 through a baby bottle drive and donations, including a $7,000 contribution from 4US-Adopt-a-Center. The Supreme Council matched the funds to complete the purchase of the $32,000 ultrasound machine, and the remaining $8,000 was divided evenly among the pregnancy center’s four area locations. Since 2012, local councils have donated more than 30 ultrasound machines and two mobile units to pregnancy resource centers in the Diocese of Venice.

All Learning Styles Welcomed
Grand Knight Travis Temples (right) and Dan Hammond of Santa Maria Council 2829 in Winston-Salem, N.C., hold appreciation cards from the Children’s Center of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County School District. Council 2829 had made several donations, totaling over $13,000, to support programs for students with intellectual disabilities at 10 local Catholic and public schools. The grants were made through the LAMB Foundation of N.C., a charitable organization founded in 1960 by Past State Deputy William Scott.
Special Olympics Soccer Shootout
Knights from Ascension Bastrop (Texas) Council 14943 cook hot dogs for athletes and volunteers at a Special Olympics Texas soccer tournament in Bastrop. Members of Council 14943 and its associated women’s auxiliary served about 400 people and helped set up soccer goals and canopies for the competition.
Chipping in for Moms and Babies
Members of New Iberia (La.) Council 1208 present a $6,000 check to Jennifer Boutte, director of Unexpected Pregnancy Center. The funds came from the council’s annual charity golf tournament and annual giving, with an additional $400 from the Supreme Council through the Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) program. The tournament raised $15,000 in total, with the other $9,000 being distributed among other charities.
Championship Lunch
Knights from several San Diego councils prepare nearly 700 bag lunches for athletes, coaches, and volunteers at the Regional Special Olympics Spring Games. The councils have supported the games this way for the past two years.
Life on Display

Fund Drive for Disabilities
Financial Secretary Gail Gubbels of Marty Council 1536 in Yankton, S.D., presents a $1,100 check — proceeds from the council’s annual disabilities fund drive — to Ability Building Services, a nonprofit serving people with developmental disabilities. Council 1536, which has run the drive for nearly 50 years, also gave $1,100 to Yankton Special Olympics.

Remembering the Unborn
Members of Father Carey Council 5569 and Mother Teresa Assembly 2812 in Rosemount, Minn., join parishioners of St. Joseph Church at a memorial for victims of abortion in St. Joseph Cemetery. The memorial, donated anonymously, was blessed by Father Paul Kammen, council chaplain, during a ceremony attended by about 30 people. Assembly 2812 provided an honor guard.

Blood Pumping for a Cause
All Saints Council 9709 in Raleigh, N.C., has hosted semiannual blood drives since partnering with the American Red Cross in 1996. Since then, the Knights have helped collect 5,000 units of blood.

Striking Out Barriers
St. Anne-Oratory Council 6756 in Rock Hill, S.C., sponsored an adult baseball team in the Rock Hill Miracle League, a league for adults with disabilities. Knights assisted players with batting and defense during each game, played weekly at Miracle Park. The team is one of six that compete.

Nearly 50 Years of Sweet Support
Bedford (Ind.)-Father William P. Garrity Council 1166 distributed nearly $44,000 from its annual fundraiser for people with disabilities to seven local organizations. The council has organized the drive for 47 years.

Pint by Pint
Floral Park (N.Y.) Council 2345 collected nearly 300 pints of blood during its most recent blood drive. The council hosts blood drives twice a year.

Aid Galore
Mother Seton Council 15540 in Three Bridges, N.J., donated more than $2,000 to organizations serving people with disabilities, including: $800 to the ARC of Somerset County, $500 to Special Olympics New Jersey and $1,000 to local schools programs. Funds came from the council’s semiannual drive for people with disabilities.

‘Buckle Up!’
Blessed Stanley Rother Council 17013 in Miesville, Minn., recently organized a donation drive that collected baby strollers and car seats for clients of Options for Women East, a pregnancy resource center in St. Paul. Since 2023, when the state legislature passed a bill redirecting $3 million from pro-life centers and maternity homes, Options for Women has had difficulty meeting the demand for strollers and car seats. Council 17013 organized the drive at St. Joseph Church to help the center meet its goal of 25 strollers and seats.

Walking With Pro-life Purpose
Archangel Gabriel Council 11279 in Pittsburgh and the pro-life group at Archangel Gabriel Parish participated in a walk for life hosted by Choices Pregnancy Center, together collecting $14,000 to support the pregnancy resource center — nearly 15% of the total amount generated by the fundraiser.

Blood Donations Save Lives
Father Widmer Council 7877 in Stafford, Va., partners with the American Red Cross to host blood drives every two months at St. William of York Church. Nearly 300 units of blood were collected in the last fraternal year, bringing the council’s lifetime total to more than 3,800.

Special Scholars
Msgr. J.B. Gleissner Council 1834 in Bryan, Texas, awarded four $750 scholarships to graduating seniors from local high schools. The council’s scholarship for students with disabilities was established in 2011 in honor of Matt Budzisz, a council member’s son who was enrolled in special education programs. Since then, the council has awarded more than $60,000 to 80 students.

Measure Up
Gilmour Council 310 in Highland Heights, Ohio, raised over $3,800 through its Measure Up campaign to support special needs children. Council 310 hosted the campaign in the three parishes it serves: St. Clare, St. Paschal Baylon and St. Francis of Assisi.

Saving Lives One Pint at a Time
St. Anastasia Council 5911 in Little Neck, N.Y., hosted a blood drive at St. Anastasia Parish, collecting 55 pints. The council has partnered with the New York Blood Center for twice-annual drives for more than 40 years, totaling over 2,000 pints donated.

Special Olympics Boosters
St. Bartholomew Council 11873 in East Brunswick, N.J., organized a fund drive for people with disabilities, raising more than $4,000 for Special Olympics New Jersey.

Life-saving Donations
Islands Council 10579 in Savannah, Ga., hosted a blood drive at St. Peter the Apostle Parish, collecting 40 pints. The council has run twice-annual drives for more than a decade, gathering about 500 pints in that time.

Silver Rose Prayer Service
Glens Falls (N.Y.) Council 194 hosted a pro-life prayer service with a Silver Rose at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church. Father Joseph Manerowski, a retired priest of the Diocese of Albany and council chaplain, led the service for 30 attendees.

Bringers of Change
Marquette Council 588 in Sparta, N.J., collected more than $2,500 during its annual spring change drive for people with disabilities. The funds will support donations and council programs throughout the year.

50 Pints Surpassed
Father Linden Council 3627 in Des Plaines, Ill., collected 16 pints of blood during its latest drive at St. Zachary Parish. Since starting blood drives with the American Red Cross in 2023, the council has collected more than 50 pints.

Support for Every Ability
Santa Maria Council 195 in Wilmington, Del., raised $7,000 in its annual disabilities fund drive to support Special Olympics Delaware and two local nonprofits serving people with intellectual disabilities. The fundraiser has been a council tradition for over 25 years.

Drive Supports Medical Needs
St. Joseph Astoria (N.Y.) Council 18577 and St. Joseph Church hosted a blood drive for the New York Blood Center, collecting more than 60 pints of blood and platelets for patients and research. This was the new council’s first major event since its charter last year.
