Where do I order Coats for Kids?

Coats are available through knightsgear.com in the United States and knightsgear.ca in Canada.

How does payment work?

All orders must be paid in full at checkout using a credit or debit card.

Who has access to order the coats?

Anyone within the council with access to a credit/debit card.

How much is the cost of shipping?

The shipping price is included in the cost of the coats.

Does our council have to pay taxes for the coats?

Councils in states or provinces that are not sales tax exempt will continue to have to pay sales taxes on the coats. Councils in states or provinces with sales tax exemptions are encouraged to submit individual tax exemption forms through their appropriate local tax authority.

How can my council receive featured program credit for this program?

Councils must purchase six or more cases of coats of any style in the United States and four or more cases of any style in Canada.

Can I still receive one credit if I order from a different vendor or less than the required cases?

Yes, you will still receive one credit towards the Columbian Award if you purchase fewer than the required cases to receive featured program credit or if coats are ordered from a different vendor.

Does the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council profit from coats purchased through Knights Gear?

The Knights of Columbus Supreme Council does not profit from council purchases of coats through Knights Gear. In fact, the Supreme Council provides a significant subsidy for the cost of shipping for councils.

Where are the coats manufactured?

The coats are manufactured in factories that undergo an annual audit by a 3rd party firm. The audit ensures ensure the factories abide by ethical business practices and have a safe work environment.
