An experienced financial and insurance industry executive, Jack Kennedy began his career at the Knights of Columbus in 2017 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and he was additionally designated Chief Operating Officer in 2025. In this combined role, he leads the organization’s financial strategy while also exercising broad operational oversight of key business areas, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with strategic priorities. He works closely with senior leaders across Investments, Field Management and Sales Distribution, Actuarial Services, Information Technology and Insurance Operations. A member of the Board of Directors, he also serves on its Executive and Finance Committee.
Prior to joining the Knights of Columbus senior staff, Jack was Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of The Chubb Corporation, a leading global insurer where he worked for nearly 30 years. Earlier in his career, he was a senior manager at Ernst & Young. At the Knights of Columbus, he has led strategic reviews of its technology capabilities as well as operational improvement initiatives. Currently, he is working to drive a major transformation of the organization’s technology capabilities.
A Knights of Columbus member for many years, Jack joined the organization as a College Knight at Fairfield University, where he earned a degree in accounting. He and his wife, Helene, have three children and four grandchildren.
