“Tantum eruditi sunt liberi” — only the educated are free. The Knights of Columbus has been helping young people obtain this freedom since our founding. For the 2018-2019 academic year, the Knights of Columbus awarded scholarships totaling nearly one million dollars.
Most recipients are the children of Knights or Knights working toward bachelor’s degrees at Catholic colleges and Catholic universities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
