NEW HAVEN, Conn. — In recognition of its exemplary service and accomplishments last year, St. Peter’s University Council 7913 from Jersey City, N.J., received the Outstanding College Council Award at the 54th College Councils Conference.

Members also tutored refugees at a local Coptic Orthodox Church as part of the Christian Refugee Relief program, supported a seminarian through the Refund Support Vocations (RSVP) program and provided Food for Families in need.
Other college councils were also awarded for their distinguished efforts organizing Faith In Action programs. Faith In Action is a set of 32 programs recommended to all Knights of Columbus councils.
