Honoring Faithful Leaders

Family Rosary Night
Knights from Father Emil Platte Council 5052 in Dallas gather with Bishop Edward Burns of Dallas after a family rosary night at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. About 600 people attended the prayer service and dinner that followed. The council has helped organize the event for the past three years, with Knights serving as ushers, preparing dinner and more.

Sister Churches
Fourth Degree Knights from St. Lodovico Pavoni Assembly 3874 in Antipolo City, Luzon South, provide a sword arch for Archbishop Charles Brown, apostolic nuncio to the Philippines, as he arrives at Nuestra Señora de la Annunciata Parish for Mass. About 20 assembly members provided an honor guard for the liturgy, which also marked a spiritual twinning of the church with the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth, Israel.

Journeying with the Saints
Members of Tabernacle (N.J.) Council 8733 join parishioners from the Church of the Holy Eucharist before embarking on a pilgrimage to the St. Carlo Acutis Shrine at Malvern Retreat House in Malvern, Pa. Organized by the council, the pilgrimage included prayingthe rosary, Eucharistic adoration, confession and Mass celebrated by Father Michael McClane, pastor and council chaplain.

'I am the Immaculate Conception'
Ten Knights from several councils in Saskatchewan stand in front of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary in Lourdes, France, during a nine-day Sacred Pathways pilgrimage. Father Peter Ebidero, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and St. Mark’s Parish and council chaplain, organized the pilgrimage with council support. More than 30 parishioners participated, traveling to sites in Fatima, Portugal; Santiago de Compostela, Spain; Lourdes, France; and Barcelona, Spain.

Physically and Spiritually Fit

Pancakes and Priests

Parish Speaker Series
Michael W. Higgins, a Canadian Catholic academic and writer, speaks on the similarities between Father Thomas Merton and Pope Francis during a lecture hosted by St. Gianna Beretta Molla Council 14749 in Brampton, Ontario. The talk was part of the council’s annual “Revitalization of Our Faith Speaker Series,” which it has organized since 2018.

A Brother's Legacy Carried On
Members of Holy Spirit Council 10502 in Palmyra, Pa., provide an honor guard as Past Grand Knight Jack Yanni carries a new presider’s chair into the sanctuary of the Church of the Holy Spirit. Joseph Spear, a brother Knight and woodworker, spent several years crafting liturgical furnishings for the parish. He had planned to build new sanctuary chairs but died of cancer in 2024. In his honor, his family raised $4,300 — including $500 from the council — to complete the project. The chairs were later blessed by Father Michael Metzger, pastor and council chaplain, during a Sunday Mass.
Statewide Rosary
The Arizona State Council organized its 50th annual Arizona Rosary Celebration, drawing large gatherings in Phoenix and Tucson. More than 8,000 people participated in the events, which included praying the rosary, Eucharistic adoration and opportunities for confession.
Defending the Faith
St. Vincent de Paul Council 9618 in Fort Myers, Fla., organized a new faith outreach program titled “How to Defend Your Faith” at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. During monthly sessions, Knights present perspectives on moral and theological topics and offer guidance on articulating Catholic teachings. About 70 parishioners attended the program’s inaugural event last fall.
Kitchen Upgrade
Mankato (Minn.) Council 901 donated more than $12,600 to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church to support the purchase of new kitchen appliances, including a natural gas convection oven and two standard natural gas ovens, for the church’s basement kitchen. The previous appliances had become outdated and unsafe.
Exploring Vocations
Our Lady of Good Counsel Council 13015 in Lincoln, Neb., hosted a men’s vocational panel at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, the Newman Center serving the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. College men heard vocation stories from three panelists, each a brother Knight: Father Alec Sasse, vocations director for the Diocese of Lincoln and assistant pastor; Benedictine Brother John Fisher of Conception Abbey in Conception, Mo.; and John Boever, a husband and father.
Dinners Served
Knights from Father Patrick O’Kelley Council 3860 in Dearborn, Mich., cooked pork tenderloin dinner for priests at the Senior Clergy Village, a residence for retired priests of the Archdiocese of Detroit in Livonia. The Knights prepare and serve meals for the priest residents about six times each year.

The funds will help provide the school with supplies, services and new kitchen equipment.

Bible Literacy

Funding Across Borders

St. Thomas à Becket Parish has supported the school for 15 years, providing supplies, meals and more. A Clean Start
Msgr. Paul V. Heller Council 8393 in Luray, Va., collected more than 500 hygiene items for Page County Public Schools, which will distribute the items through each school’s Care Closet program to students and families in need. The council also donated more than $350 to the district program for the purchase of hygiene products, clothing and other essential items.
Scholarships Aced
Point Loma Council 3947 in San Diego awarded a total of $9,000 in scholarships to three students from St. Charles Borromeo Academy. The winners were selected based on essays about the importance of Catholic education.
A Knightly Gathering
Knights from the Diocese of Talibon, Visayas, organized the 7th annual K of C Diocesan Conference at St. Vincent Parish. About 300 Knights attended the event, themed “Pilgrims of Hope on Mission, Making History.” Bishop Patrick Daniel Parcon celebrated a pontifical Mass.
Clearing the Way
Twelve members of St. Nicholas of Myra Council 10044 in Hays, Kan., along with family members, removed about 15 trees from the athletic field area of Thomas More Prep-Marian Jr./Sr. High School and transported the debris to the Ellis County Landfill.
Harvesting Charity
Pope John Paul II Council 14017 in Middletown, Conn., raised $15,700 over four days from its cheeseburger booth at the Durham Fair, Connecticut’s largest agricultural fair. The funds will support St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish, the council’s Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids distribution, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and more.
Serving Up Support
Algona (Iowa) Council 952 donated a total of $3,660 to three organizations: Kossuth County Food Pantry; Moving Veterans Forward, which helps veterans experiencing homelessness find housing; and Exceptional Opportunities, which provides education, recreation, employment services, housing and other support to people with disabilities.
Classroom Coats
Sts. Joseph and Mary Council 8455 in Sequim, Wash., and James G. Caldwell Council 2260 in Port Angeles raised $7,500 — proceeds from a golf tournament, fundraisers and parishioner donations — to donate more than 800 coats through the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program to children in need in the Clallam County and Jefferson County school systems. The councils have supported the program for 12 years and have distributed more than 4,500 coats in that time.
Healing Families
Rev. E.F. Callahan Council 3837 in Union City, Tenn., donated $1,000 to OUTsideIN, a nonprofit that helps women in recovery from substance abuse and their children.
Potato Partners
Knights from St. Hubert Council 11357 in Langley, Wash., bagged potatoes during a food-packing event at St. Hubert Catholic Church. Knights and parishioners packaged more than 11,000 pounds of potatoes, distributing about 1,100 10-pound bags to charities on Whidbey Island — enough to feed approximately 22,000 people.
Hunger Relief
Del Rosa Council 4488 in San Bernardino, Calif., partnered with Catholic Charities San Bernardino and Riverside Counties and Feeding America to deliver 60 boxes of food to 17 pantries across the diocese.
Soup, Sweets, and Support
Iowa Great Lakes Council 5043 in Spirit Lake, Iowa, organized its annual Soup and Dessert Supper at St. Mary’s Parish. More than 400 people attended, raising more than $4,400 for the council’s charities.

Winter Warmth

Knights from St. Joachim Council 5064 in Arvada, Colo., present a check for more than $2,600 to officers of the Arvada Police Department for the department’s foundation. The funds will support construction of a $500,000 garden to honor officers killed in the line of duty, scheduled for completion in May 2026.

Discovery Float
Members of Rev. George E. Keefe Council 4475 in Middleburgh, N.Y., gather at Middleburgh Elementary School before participating in the town’s annual Fall Festival Parade. The Knights have participated for several years and, for the 2025 parade, chose to honor Christopher Columbus by having brother Knight Lucas Ortiz’s son, Michael, dress as the Order’s namesake. Care Bears

Lincoln (R.I.) Council 4005 organized its 10th annual breakfast for veterans and first responders at the Columbus Club. More than 100 attendees, including families, participated.
Stars of Honor
Msgr. William Van Garsse Assembly 2664 in Apple Valley, Calif., partnered with Stars for Heroes to collect 250 stars from retired U.S. flags to distribute, along with prayer cards, to members of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14 in Sierra Vista, Ariz. The items were blessed by Resurrectionist Father Delwyn Haroldson, pastor of Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church and faithful friar. The assembly has distributed about 750 stars over the past three years.
Driving Change
Light of Christ Council 8726 in Sinking Spring, Pa., raised $21,600 at its sixth annual charity golf tournament at Manor Golf Course. The funds were divided among four organizations, including a Catholic school, groups serving people experiencing homelessness, and programs for individuals with disabilities.
Celebrating Young Heroes
Bishop Fenwick Assembly 100 in Norwalk, Conn., sponsored the reception at the annual awards ceremony for the Norwalk Public Safety Cadets program, which helps middle and high school students develop life skills and explore public safety careers. Working with the Norwalk Police Department, Knights helped organize the event and serve food. The assembly began supporting the program three years ago.
Vittles for Vets
Several councils and assemblies near Salem, Va., spearheaded the Snacks for Veterans program at the Salem VA Medical Center. The program, launched in July 2025 at the center’s request, provides healthy snacks for patients. Participating councils and assemblies contribute at least $150 annually and assist with special events throughout the year.
Acting Charity
Santa Lucia Council 3648 in Atascadero, Calif., hosted its ninth annual cornhole tournament fundraiser at Sunken Gardens city park. About 100 participants helped raise more than $4,000 for local nonprofit charities, including North County Adaptive Sports and Recreation, Escuela del Rio Disabilities Program and a local food bank. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $23,000.
Covering the Need
Portland (Maine) Council 101 purchased and delivered more than 300 coats through theKnights of Columbus Coats for Kids program to Maine Needs, a nonprofit that distributes the coats to families in need.
Light After the Storm
Calinan Council 7470 in Davao City, Mindanao, donated 8,700 PHP (about $150) to families affected by a typhoon near Cebu City, Visayas. The funds were used to purchasefood, clean water and temporary shelter.
Chilly Days, Warm Ways
Msgr. Richard C. Madden Council 6629 in Summerville, S.C., donated about 100 winter coats to William M. Reeves Elementary School and about 50 more to veterans at the North Charleston VA Clinic. The coats were purchased with proceeds from the council’s fish fry fundraisers through the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program.
Veterans Night Out
Arroyo Grande (Calif.) Council 1375 organized its annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Ten Knights and volunteers served 125 attendees, including 45 veterans from all branches of the U.S. military. Each veteran was individually introduced and honored, and Dennis Hennessey, who served in the U.S. Army during theVietnam War, spoke on the war’s history.
Giving Back
Father Roger J. Plante, M.S. Assembly 3770 in Marietta, Ga., donated four wheelchairs and 100 boxes of books from Knights of Columbus Charities of Georgia to veterans experiencing homelessness at Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Atlanta Veterans Village. The assembly also contributed $1,000 from its annual fundraiser.
Finding the Cure
Marquette Council 588 in Sparta, N.J., and Our Lady of the Mountains Council 3533 in Livingston raised about $700 to support Blood Cancer United’s annual Light the Night walk. Members and their families joined about 500 participants, helping raise more than $1 million for blood cancer research and awareness.
A Touch of Home
Our Lady of Divine Providence Council 9347 in Metairie, La., organized a drive for Harry Tompson Center, a shelter for people experiencing homelessness, that collected enough hygiene items and clothing to fill about 35 boxes. Parishioners also donated $375, and the council contributed an additional $500.
Golfing to Give
Warren Council 474 in Phillipsburg, N.J., donated two $10,000 checks to parents of children battling serious illness at St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church. The $20,000 was raised through the council’s 16th annual golf outing for pediatric cancer and juvenile disease.

Pro-Life Leaders
Members of Dr. Uhrich Assembly 1066 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, lead more than 100 people in the 2025 pro-life march organized by Battleford Right to Life, from St. Joseph Calasanctius Church to the monument to the Unborn at the city cemetery. Local Knights have participated in the walk for more than 40 years, and last year helped raise CA$5,700 to advertise pro-life messages on two electronic billboards.

Life in Focus
Knights from Our Lady of La Salette Council 8376 in Marietta, Ga., gather with staff from Caring Solutions, a pregnancy resource center in Macon, after delivering a new ultrasound machine. The council raised more than $24,600 for the purchase, and the Supreme Council contributed more than $21,000 through the Ultrasound Initiative.

Legacy of Life
Members of Point Loma Council 3947 in San Diego, along with officers of the California State Council and staff from Culture of Life Family Services, gather around two new ultrasound machines funded by the Knights. The council raised $26,600 for the machines, including $13,300 from 4US, a pro-life nonprofit. The Supreme Council matched the full amount through the Ultrasound Initiative. Putting Kids First
Knights from Coeur de Leon Council 87 in Framingham, Mass., stand outside St. Tarcisius Parish after Mass to collect donations for the council’s annual fund drive for people with disabilities. Over six weeks, more than $5,000 was collected and donated to the Massachusetts State Council to support children with disabilities.

A Lifesaving Gift

Empowering Every Ability

Safe and Secure

Iron River (Mich.) Council 2300 organized its 50th annual fundraiser for people with disabilities, raising more than $4,300 for West Iron County’s special education program.The council also held its last Black Cow event for the year at Iron Mountain VA Medical Center, serving root beer floats, ice cream sundaes and more to 40 residents and staff.
Diving into Lunch
Forty Knights from St. John of the Cross/Our Lady of the Rosary Council 13153 in Vero Beach, Fla., prepared lunches for 1,900 Special Olympics athletes, coaches and volunteers over two days during a swim meet. Over 12 years, the Knights’ efforts have helped Special Olympics Florida save more than $180,000.
Diapers and Dimes
St. Catherine of Siena Council 6980 in Portage, Mich., organized a baby bottle drive at St. Catherine of Siena Parish to support the Caring Network, a pregnancy resource center in Kalamazoo. More than $9,100 was raised, including a $400 donation from the Supreme Council through the ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) program. Parishioners also donated diapers, wipes and baby clothing.
Supporting Life ASAP
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Council 10678 in Crystal Lake, Ill., donated $3,600 — proceeds from the council’s Husk for Hope corn fundraiser — to 1st Way Life Center, a pregnancy resource center in Johnsburg. Because the donation was made through ASAP, the Supreme Council contributed an additional $400.
Nourishing Those Who Give
Our Lady of Montserrat Council 10101 in Iloilo City, Visayas, provided food — including rice porridge, fried chicken and juice — to blood donors and organizers of a drive hosted by the University of San Agustin’s College of Technology.
International Impact
The California State Council helped Sister Chilee Okoko, head of the Diocese of San Bernardino’s Office of Life, Dignity and Justice, obtain a used portable ultrasound machine and a new handheld unit for a hospital she established in her home village in Nigeria. Knights have also provided financial support, clothing, supplies and more, which Sister Chilee delivers during her annual visits to her home country.
Virgen de Guadalupe, Pray for Us!
Immaculate Conception Council 18200 in Jenkintown, Pa., organized a pro-life prayer service at Immaculate Conception Parish, and a Knights of Columbus Silver Rose was on display. Since being chartered in 2024, Council 18200 has raised more than $3,000 for pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes in Philadelphia.

Calinan Council 7470 in Davao City, Mindanao, partnered with the Calinan Barangay Council to organize a blood drive. More than 100 pints were collected for the Philippine Red Cross. Knights also visited Pag-Amoma Precious Children’s Home Inc., singing to residents and providing hygiene kits and food.
Coats, Caps and Care
Father Jeremiah O’Callaghan Council 3659 in Inver Grove, Minn., distributed about 120 coats purchased through the Knights of Columbus Coats for Kids program at Guiding Star Wakota, a pregnancy resource center. The council also donated more than 200 knit hats made by a Knight’s daughter.
